10Web: Launch and grow your business online with AI

Editor's Rating

Overall rating
4.1/5
(4.1)
The platform excels in using AI to streamline the website-building process, offering a user-friendly interface and robust features such as automated backups and performance optimization. Its AI Website Builder is innovative, though it still requires manual tweaks for the best results. The higher pricing and lack of a money-back guarantee are notable drawbacks, but the 7-day free trial helps mitigate this. Overall, 10Web is a strong choice for those seeking advanced functionality and modern web hosting solutions.

Pros and Cons

Here are the pros and cons of 10Web:
Pros
  • AI-Powered Tools: Advanced AI for website creation and content generation.
  • User-friendly interface: Simple and intuitive design for easy navigation.
  • Automated backups: Real-time backups to safeguard your data.
  • Performance optimization: Tools to enhance website speed and efficiency.
  • 1-click migration: Effortless website migration with Cloudflare CDN integration.
Cons
  • Higher pricing: More expensive than many competitors.
  • No money-back guarantee: Lack of refund options can be a drawback.
  • Manual editing required: AI tools need manual tweaks for best results.
  • Slow help center: Help center can be sluggish at times.
  • Slightly lower uptime: Uptime slightly lower than some top hosts.

Ease of Use

I would rate the overall ease of use of 10Web at 4.2 out of 5.

Here’s why:

  • Despite having a plethora of features and options, they seem to do a good job of keeping things simple and user-friendly.
  • While the platform’s robustness and the various options available are strengths, they can also make the user experience somewhat overwhelming.
  • The integration of AI for tasks like website creation and content generation is a double-edged sword.

10Web offers a robust and modern platform that strikes a good balance between functionality and ease of use.

However, the platform’s extensive features can be both a blessing and a curse, potentially overwhelming less experienced users.

User Interface

For 10Web, we already have a test account for hosting — while I might not be able to showcase everything, I can give you a glimpse of the current setup. 🙂

After logging in, you will arrive at the websites dashboard of the client area:

websites dashboard in 10web

Looks simple, right?

On the bright side, once you get to the website overview dashboard, you will see just how robust 10Web is with all of its AI-powered features.

From the hosted sites dashboard, you can:

  • Directly go to the site’s WordPress dashboard
  • Manage each site
  • Create a WordPress site using AI
  • Migrate your website

If you want to manage your website inside 10Web, this is what you will see:

website overview in 10web

10Web definitely looks modern. 👍

As you may know, they also have a heavy implementation of artificial intelligence, and they have a lot of components too.

Hosting Setup

As I showed earlier, you can easily create a new website using artificial intelligence, templates, or themes in the dashboard.

Once you click the create a website button, this is what you will see:

wordpress installation in 10web

You have a glimpse now of why I said 10Web is robust.

There are three types of installation you can create:

  1. Single WP website (the regular website)
  2. Multisite
  3. Clone

You will also be able to choose the location or data center — for this, you must choose the location that’s closest to your target audience.

After that you can, you can make use of the AI Builder for the contents of your site:

add pages using the ai builder from 10web

Of course, you can also do it the usual route by installing or developing a custom theme.

But it’s nice to know that the option for using artificial intelligence is there in case you want to generate content with AI. 🤖

đź‘‹ My thoughts here

Although 10Web is robust, it doesn’t really affect the user experience.

Here are my thoughts here:

  • The user interface is modern and looks good.
  • It was easy for me to navigate through the user interface despite the number of options and buttons.
  • Creating a website is also simple, with a big button that you can press, and artificial intelligence to help.

At first, I thought the user interface would be complicated.

But lo and behold, 10Web did a good job at making their user interface feel simple and user-friendly. 👏

Wrapping up, the ease of using 10Web highlights the importance of a reliable web hosting service to enhance your website’s overall performance.

This is where Hostinger excels, providing a cost-effective and robust hosting solution that you simply can’t overlook.

Choosing Hostinger means you’re investing in a hosting service that prioritizes speed, stability, and excellent performance for your website.

Features

I would rate the overall features of 10Web at 4.5 out of 5.

Here’s why:

  • The AI Website Builder, which can generate a full multi-page website based on a business description, demonstrates innovative use of technology.
  • While the 10Web AI Website Builder is powerful for creating initial drafts, it doesn’t completely eliminate the need for manual editing.
  • The range of website management tools, including automated real-time backups, 1-click migration, website booster, and image optimizer, is impressive.

10Web offers a feature-rich platform that uses advanced artificial intelligence to streamline website creation and management.

However, the need for considerable manual editing and fine-tuning after using the AI tools can be a drawback for those expecting fully automated results.

⚠️ Note: If you’re looking for what each hosting plan brings to the table, you can find them in the pricing section of this review as what I’ll be talking about here are hosting features.

Here are some notable features of 10Web:

1. AI Website Builder

If you’re familiar with Elementor’s theme and page builder or other similar website builders, you’re looking at 10Web’s version of it using artificial intelligence.

The most powerful aspect of this builder is the ability to create a full website from scratch by asking you what kind of website you want to create.

Here’s an example of a website I generated using the builder:

10web generated website named paw patrol

For a first draft of the full website with information only on the type of business I want and its description, it’s pretty good.

Of course, it’s not something that you can just let the AI generate and then it’s good to go — no, you still have to edit it if you want to make a professional website.

If you want to know, this AI Builder generated 7 total pages including an about page, behavior types, contact page, and more.

2. Website management

10Web is a managed WordPress hosting, and so it comes with the usual package that comes with managed services.

My favorite so far is the automated real-time backups where they backup the site every day as well as before specific important actions.

You can also back up your site anytime you want (on-demand) and even schedule the automatic backup that suits your business:

scheduling backup in 10web

You can also configure what to include/exclude in the backup, delete backups, and even set limits on your backups.

Besides the backup feature, they also have:

  • Automated 1-click migration
  • Website booster
  • Image optimizer
  • Cloudflare CDN (addon)

There are also lots of tools available like website caching, SSL certificates, redirects, and access and error logs. 🙂

3. AI Assistant

Did you know that they also have various AI tools?

I can’t let go of this one since 10Web seems to market their AI integration to be their strongest or #1 selling point.

They have an AI Assistant tool that looks like this:

ai assistant tools from 10web

It’s basically an AI content generator that could help you write various types of content like:

  • Blog post
  • Page content
  • Product description
  • Marketing texts

If you want to use AI copilot tools like Jasper, then you can use the AI Assistant instead to help you write the content of your website.

But take note that there’s a limit to how many words you can generate using the AI Assistant depending on the plan you subscribed to.

đź‘‹ My thoughts here

10Web put an interesting twist on creating WordPress websites by integrating artificial intelligence.

Here are my thoughts here:

  • The AI-powered website builder is powerful for creating first draft websites — including possible pages you want in the website.
  • Unfortunately, it’s not a generate-and-go feature since you still have to do a lot of editing to make the website look better.
  • The AI Assistant also rocks if you need AI to kickstart your creative juices or if you want it to write content for you faster than you could.

But no matter how powerful 10Web’s AI integration is, always remember to check everything up.

As you may know, the technology used in AI-generated content is still young and prone to mistakes (or misunderstandings).

Take caution when using AI. 🙂

Reliability

I would rate the overall reliability of 10Web at 3.9 out of 5.

Here’s why:

  • 10Web boasts a highly respectable performance grade of 84/100 from Pingdom and an average page load time of 1.22 seconds.
  • While 10Web’s uptime of 99.85% is quite high, it is slightly lower compared to other leading hosts like Bluehost and Siteground.
  • The detailed status page that 10Web offers for service updates and maintenance is commendable.

10Web demonstrates strong reliability with impressive performance metrics, including a high-performance grade and fast page load times.

Their uptime, while slightly lower than some competitors, still remains at an excellent level of 99.85%, assuring users seeking consistency and stability.

Performance

Regarding performance, I monitor around 20 different web hosting services using Pingdom — these are the same hosts that Darrel features in his videos.

In terms of uptime, 10Web was up 99.85% of the time for the past year — and it got a downtime of 13 hours.

10web uptime score

⚠️ Note: For the hosting plans, we usually get the cheapest one from each web hosting service. Well, if their lowest plans suck, we can’t expect much from their more expensive options, right? We also use the same Elementor template kit and plugins.

10Web has a good uptime score from Pingdom being down for only 13 hours for the entire year, which is pretty low on average.

Anyway, for the page speed, 10Web had an average load time of 1.22 seconds and got an 84/100 performance grade from Pingdom.

10web page speed score

Now let’s compare 10Web’s performance with the results from other well-known web hosting providers (1 year):

Web HostUptimeDowntimePerformanceLoad Time
10Web99.85%13 hours84/1001.22 seconds
Kinsta99.99%24 minutes77/1001.26 seconds
Hostinger99.96 %3 hours84/1001.32 seconds
Bluehost99.92 %6 hours75/1006.72 seconds
SiteGround99.99 %1 hour76/1001.73 seconds

10Web has the lowest uptime from the list, though it’s 99.85% so it’s still high up in there in terms of standards.

Having a high-performance grade means it’s as optimized as it could be, loading only within 1.22 seconds — that’s fast!

But if you’re particular with the uptime percentage, we need to face the fact that it has a lower uptime than Bluehost, which I think is the worst in this list in terms of quality.

Updates and Maintenance

But how about updates and maintenance?

10Web has a detailed status page that lists the status of the services, dashboard, and server locations.

It looks like this:

10web status page

For each of the things listed on the status page, you can view their uptime history.

You can also subscribe to the updates in three ways:

  • Email address
  • Join their dedicated Slack channel
  • RSS feed

If you scroll down further, you will be able to see past incidents in the last two weeks or see the incident history on another page.

The transparency here is top-notch. 🏳️

đź‘‹ My thoughts here

10Web is giving green flags here in terms of performance.

Here are my thoughts:

  • 10Web has great uptime, 13 hours of downtime for the entire year, a fast loading time, and is optimized.
  • Unfortunately, though it’s high up there, Bluehost managed to beat it in terms of uptime despite the difference in quality and features.
  • They have good transparency, with a system status page where you can see the uptime (and history) and incident reports in 10Web.

Some of you might be bothered by the uptime (even if it’s above 99%).

Just know that in real-time, it’s hard to feel it (anything above 99% is top-notch) unless there’s something wrong with your site.

Support

I would rate the overall support of 10Web at 4.3 out of 5.

Here’s why:

  • 10Web offers a robust lineup of customer service options that include live chat, a help center, and ticket status tracking.
  • While the design and content quality of the help articles are commendable, the help center’s slowness is noticeable.
  • The knowledge base and help articles are exceptionally well-written, complete with organized content, short videos, and images.

The quick response time from the support team ensures that users can get timely assistance, enhancing the overall support experience.

However, the noticeable slowness of the help center detracts slightly from the otherwise seamless support system.

Customer Service

10Web seems to have a solid lineup of customer service options.

You can even see all of them easily after logging in as the buttons that would bring you to the support options are present in the whole client area.

Like this:

10web customer support options

The heart icon on the bottom right is for the different options while the chat on the left side is for, well, contacting them.

The options on the left have four buttons:

  1. Help center
  2. Ticket status
  3. What’s new
  4. Submit your idea

I like the fact that they have a live chat (and I can’t help myself and test it out with a legitimate question).

Here are the results:

  • They use a chatbot that replies almost immediately.
  • It took 3 minutes before a real person replied after I opted to talk with a customer care agent.
  • Only a minute had passed when the agent replied to my question and the conversation flowed instantly afterwards.

By the way, here’s the ticket center:

10web ticket center

I noticed that there’s no button to manually submit a ticket here.

That’s when I realized that conversations from the chat with “unresolved” issues likely end up here and you can create a follow-up if needed.

Help Center

10Web has a help center that contains a knowledge base, premium plugins, and other resources like their public roadmap and community.

Here’s what the front page looks like:

10web help center home page

Their help articles are grouped into distinct categories such as:

  • Getting started
  • Automated WP platform
  • AI Builder
  • Account and payment

Within the categories are subcategories, which then contain all the help articles.

Right away, I noticed a potential problem — their help center seems a little slow than their actual website, and it’s noticeable.

For the actual articles, here’s what it looks like:

10web help article

I officially declare 10Web as having the best-looking help articles or KB articles out of all the web hosting services I reviewed.

As you can see, besides the design, they have well-written content (and well-organized), complete with short videos and images.

Well, 10Web has the best-looking help articles, so they should now focus on optimizing the experience. 🙂

đź‘‹ My thoughts here

10Web has a lot of good points here in support.

Here are my thoughts:

  • They have good customer support options, covering all the most important aspects like live chat and help center.
  • 10Web’s agents reply fast — it took only 3 minutes to switch from the bot to the customer care agent and a minute to reply to my queries.
  • They have nice-looking support articles, though they may have to optimize the help center and make it as smooth as their main site.

By the way, for the response time in the chat, the results you get may vary depending on the time and what kind of help you need.

Besides the “slowness” I felt in the help center, 10Web has superb support. 🏆

Pricing

I would rate the overall pricing of 10Web at 3.7 out of 5.

Here’s why:

  • 10Web offers a variety of robust features, including AI website generation, automated real-time backups, image optimization, etc.
  • The pricing of 10Web is on the higher side compared to other web hosting providers.
  • 10Web does not offer any refund or money-back guarantee, which is a significant drawback, especially for new users who are uncertain.

10Web provides a range of feature-rich plans that integrate advanced functionalities.

However, these plans are notably more expensive than those offered by many competitors, which could be a deterrent for budget-conscious users.

Platform

Because of the features, it’s easy to guess that 10Web is on the more expensive side of business.

Here are the business pricing plans (one website only):

10web business hosting pricing plans

Their cheapest plan costs $10/month (annual) — the monthly variant will cost you $20/month, and only for one website.

To give you an idea, here’s how much the next plan differs from the cheapest plan:

  • 45K more words for the AI Assistant
  • 40K more monthly visitors
  • 5 GB more SSD storage
  • 5 more website regenerations

In addition, 10Web has a separate lineup for online stores:

10web ecommerce hosting plans

It’s a little more expensive due to having more AI Assistant words, monthly visitors, and SSD storage.

If you’re planning to host 3+ websites, the way to go is to pick an agency plan where you can save a significant amount of money.

10Web Booster

They have a separate plan for accelerating websites migrated to 10Web.

10Web guarantees that client sites will get an automatic 90+ page speed score for both mobile and desktop.

Here are the plans:

10web booster plans

It’s a little expensive ($6/month/website) and is almost on par with getting a business plan (1 website).

They included a lot of features here though, including Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, with a starting point of 100 GB CDN bandwidth.

10Web also offers an automated hosting add-on for $8/website through Google Cloud which they said would optimize your backend performance.

Money Back Guarantee/Refund

Unfortunately, 10Web doesn’t offer any refund or money-back guarantee on any of their hosting plans and services.

They made it clear in their policy:

10web no refund policy

They do provide a 7-day free trial though to help users evaluate their services and see if they’re a right fit for each other.

10Web sends an email 24 hours before the first payment to allow you to check your subscription and if you want to continue or not.

This is a little unfortunate — but at least, they still let you try their services for free for a week.

đź‘‹ My thoughts here

Although 10Web’s services are more expensive than others, they offer features that are also not found in other web hosting companies.

Here are my thoughts here:

  • It’s still debatable whether or not the AI website generation capability is worth the cost especially since the best you will get still needs a lot of edits
  • If you have more websites, the best plan to get is one that belongs in the agency lineup (though it’s still expensive).
  • 10Web has no refund or money-back guarantee, though they support a 7-day free trial for those who want to test their services.

If you ask me, 10Web has good services, but I might not get a plan with them simply because of the cost.

Website generation through artificial intelligence is still a little weak at this point, and using a theme or template will get me further.

Final Thoughts

When choosing a plan from 10Web, consider your specific needs and budget carefully.

If you’re running multiple websites or an ecommerce site, the agency or ecommerce plans might offer better value despite the higher cost.

Take full advantage of the 7-day free trial to thoroughly evaluate the features and performance, ensuring they align with your expectations.

Remember that while the AI-powered features are impressive, you will still need to invest time in manual editing and optimization to achieve the best results.

After exploring the robust features and ease of use offered by 10Web…

You might be looking for ways to further enhance your website’s design without the hassle of constant updates and support costs.
